MORNING SKIN CARE RITUAL:
Rose Day Cream is for dry to very dry, sensitive or maturing skin, with redness. It’s an extremely rich moisturiser which soothes, balances, protects and strengthens, and even protects against wind and harsh weather. A concentrated formulation with the equivalent of 35 organic or biodynamic roses in every tube.
EVENING SKIN CARE RITUAL:
Cleansing Balm for light make-up or Soothing Cleansing Milk with medium to heavy make-up. If you don’t use make-up cleanse with your Cleansing Cream. We recommend a double cleanse if you use make-up, once to remove the make-up, dirt and dust your skin picks up during the day and a secondary cleanse to cleanse your skin, use either Cleansing Cream or Cleansing Balm for your second cleanse.
For a maturing skin use Regenerating Serum 40+ or Regenerating Intensive Night Serum 50-55+ instead.

Gentle, effective cleansing and a commitment to daily skin care rituals are the first steps towards healthy and radiant skin.
1. We recommend Cleansing Cream, which is not a make-up remover, but it is a deep cleanser which is ideal in the morning, because overnight your skin has been busy as an elimination organ, that’s why you often wake up to a new pimple, and skin also does its regeneration work overnight. Watch the Cleansing Cream application video because you use it a bit differently than what you may be used to.
Cleansing Cream Application: Mix around 1-2cm with water to make a creamy emulsion between the palms of your hands. Then ‘press and roll’ it onto your skin, moving from centre to outwards, in the direction of your lymph and repeat 2-3 times. This technique creates a suction type effect and almond meal is adept at binding to sebum and impurities.
2. Our Facial Toner is used by closing your eyes and misting directly onto your skin, like a refreshing spritz of morning dew with a comforting herbal aroma. It contains witch hazel and anthyllis.
3. We recommend Rose Day Cream. It’s a classic in the Dr. Hauschka Skin Care range, capturing all the diversity of the rose to nourish and protect normal to dry or very dry, sensitive or mature skin. Especially beneficial for skin prone to redness, irritation and couperose. The rich, luxurious formulation harmonises oil and moisture content, gently guiding the skin to a state of comfort, balance and radiance. Precious extracts of rose petals and wild rose hips nurture and balance the skin. Shea butter, rose petal wax and avocado oil protect and help retain moisture. Extracts of marshmallow and St. John’s wort soothe redness, hydrate and fortify. Place around a pea size into the palm of your hand, warm it between both palms and then apply to your skin, which is still moist from Facial Toner.
TIPS:
Many of our customers who use Rose Day Cream find they may need a lighter formula in the very warm months. Trial Quince Day Cream or Rose Day Cream Light.
If you get an occasional pimple then Coverstick is your must-have pimple product. Apply as soon as you see a pimple and reapply regularly.
If you use makeup, use a clean beauty Foundation. Alternatively mix a little Translucent Bronzing Tint with your Rose Day Cream.
Extra Care: We highly recommend once a week a Clarifying Steam Bath in your hand hot basin water with Organic Cotton Compress Cloth to soften pores, followed by Clarifying Clay Mask to further deep cleanse, remove impurities and provide gentle exfoliation. Once dry the Clay Mask is removed efficiently by re-moistening and wiping away with Cleansing Sponge. Ideally follow-up with Hydrating Mask to really give your skin a nourishing boost. Revitalising Mask which benefits all skin conditions may also be used.
